Volga Blue is a labradorite granite from the Ukrainian Shield, prized for its blue iridescence: large feldspar crystals flash from deep blue to peacock green as the light moves. No two slabs are identical, which is exactly why designers specify it for statement surfaces.
Labradorite countertops are the most common application – the polished surface shows the labradorescence at its strongest, and the stone's density makes it as practical as any black granite. We supply polished slabs in 2 and 3 cm as well as cut countertop blanks to fabricators' drawings.
Because we quarry Volga Blue at our own deposit, we control block selection and can match slabs within a project – critical for large countertop runs and cladding. Ask for current block photos with your quote.
